HIGH TEA IN THE PALM ROOM....

I had the most amazing `afternoon tea` at the Ritz in London a couple of weeks ago. Very `English`. Beautiful sunny afternoon with lovely company and the food, Oh my, finger sandwiches, cucumber of course, (there are other uses hehe) but it was such a civilized and quaint rendezvous it was an absolute delight. Not to mention the chocolate covered strawberries. All washed down with a chilled glass of champagne. Doesn`t get much better than that.
Thank goodness we still have these wonderful traditions, you don`t have to go to the Ritz either, so many places in Britain do such wonderful afternoon teas and weather permitting, to sit outside and partake in a glorious food is a real treat. Also on the menu was mini cheese and chive quiche, smoked salmon with chive butter, and all of it was exquisite. The Palm Court does have a strict dress code, but other places are normally much more casual. ...

Out Of Tragedy Comes Love !!
The concert arranged just shows how much the world is affected by these atrocities but how heartwarming to know that we can all come together at such a time and let the good shine through.
Mancunians are a tough breed but we are all in shock at last weeks events .
Thoughts and prayers with everyone affected and hats off to our amazing
men and women from the emergency services unsung hero's who ran to help those in need.
Love for the Mancunians resilience .

The Gadget Queen.

Hi everyone, As people who know me well know that I am not the most tech savvy of people, but somehow, I do persevere and get there eventually. (That`s if I have`nt already launched it through the window). I am now the proud owner of the new George Foreman all singing, all dancing grill. I have to keep my tiny waist TINY. Also invested in a new steamer, now I know the spa`s have great steam rooms, but this is just a boring house contraption. Still, it has made life easier and I am certainly getting plenty of exercise, although I have lots of inventive ways of keeping myself fit. A girl must keep her figure if at all possible and even though I say so myself, I am on track with that. After all, summer is almost here and I have lots of new outfits all ready and waiting. Loving the summer weather and can`t wait to show them off.

SUMMER IS ON ITS WAY (WE LIVE IN HOPE).

Hi everyone, Well, that`s Easter done and dusted and wasn`t I a good girl, it was not chocolate fest at my place. Have to think of summer and those gorgeous itsy, bitsy outfits that I have re-discovered. Makes me think of hot sunny days, a glass of bubbly or red wine, and of course, not forgetting extremely good company. Heaven.!!!!
Always a girl to look on the positive side, (my glass is always half full) I am just hoping that we all have a lovely summer and can have some exciting and adventurous times.
Don`t you find that everything looks so much better and ones` mood lifts as soon as the sun shines.
