R.i.p to a Rock and Roll legend - TINA TURNER

Hi guys

It's a sad day in the music world as one of the greatest legends of all time, Tina Turner, has passed away. She was one of my favourite artists. I have decided to make a blog tribute, to celebrate the life of an incredible icon, who blessed us with some truly epic music for over 60 years.

Tina was an absolute powerhouse with a voice like no other. She started making hits in the sixties, jamming with her ex-husband Ike Turner and creating iconic tunes like "River Deep, Mountain High" and "Proud Mary." And let's be real, even if you didn't listen to her music in its heyday, you've definitely jammed out to one of these songs while cleaning the house or driving to work with the radio blasting.

After leaving Ike, Tina started a solo career and made some of the most memorable music of all time including "What's Love Got to Do with It" and "Private Dancer." And she was more than just a performer, Tina was a true trailblazer for women, inspiring millions of people with her resilience and courage. She was never afraid to share her personal struggles, and that's what made her so relatable and lovable.

Tina Turner is an icon in every sense of the word. From her electrifying stage presence to her advocacy for women's rights, she was a true inspiration and an unstoppable force in the music industry. She has won multiple awards including Grammys, and has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-which is no small feat. I mean, who wouldn't want to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?! Every rock artist inspires, to get that honor, and she certainly earned it.

So let's take a moment to remember this incredible legend. Her music will continue to inspire and uplift us for generations to come. Farewell, Tina Turner, you will forever be remembered as one of the greatest music icons of all time.

How to cook jerk chicken, with rice +peas

Hi guys

Happy new year 2023 everybody. Hope all of you had a lovely Christmas.

As mentioned in one of my previous posts, I come from a mixed carribbean and South American culture. I love cooking dishes from both of my parents cultures.

here is one of my favourite dishes.

JAMAICAN JERK CHICKEN, WITH RICE +PEAS.

Ingredients

4-6 chicken breasts, thighs or drumsticks(I prefer to skin my chicken, however its your personal preferenceon whether you do so.)

2 tablespoons Tropical Sun Dry Jerk Seasoning

Jerk Seasoning Marinade:

3 tablespoons Tropical Sun Jerk Seasoning Paste

2 tablespoons Tropical Sun Classic BBQ Sauce or levi roots reggae reggae sauce

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 teaspoons chopped thyme

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

3 tablespoons olive oil or vegetable oil

Rice & Peas:

1 tin (400g) Gungo Peas or red kidney beans , drained and rinsed. You can use red kidney beans, instead of the gungo beans if you prefer that.

3 cups vegetable stock (dissolve 1.5 Vegetable Stock Cubes in approx 750ml boiled water and allow to cool)

2 stalks spring onion, finely chopped

4 stems fresh thyme

1 whole scotch bonnet pepper

3 cloves garlic, minced

4 whole Whole Pimento (Allspice) Berries

1 thumb-sized piece fresh ginger, grated

1 cup 100% Natural Coconut Milk

1 teaspoon salt

2 1/2 cups Basmati Rice

Method

1.Wash the chicken. Fill a bowl with cold water (enough to cover the chicken). Add in 2 teaspoons of vinegar and the juice of 1 lemon. Put the chicken into the bowl and soak for 10 minutes.

2 Drain the water, vinegar and lemon mixture, rinse chicken with cold water and pat dry with paper towel or similar.

3.Rub each piece of chicken with the dry jerk seasoning, ensuring you get maximum coverage. Leave to rest for 30 minutes to allow the flavour to absorb.

4.In a bowl, mix together the jerk seasoning paste, BBQ sauce, garlic, thyme, salt, black pepper, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce and olive oil to create the jerk marinade.

5 . Cover the chicken with the jerk marinade and leave to rest in the fridge for at least 2 hours or ideally overnight.

6. While the chicken is marinating, cover the gungo peas/red kidney beans, with vegetable stock in a large saucepan and bring to a boil over moderately high heat.

7. Once the stock is boiling, add in the spring onion, thyme, whole scotch bonnet pepper, garlic, pimento and ginger.

8. Stir in the coconut milk and salt and bring to a gentle simmer.

9. Wash the rice thoroughly with cold water, add to the saucepan and stir. Cover and allow to come to a boil, then turn down to a low heat. Cook until rice grains are tender, approximately 30-40 minutes.

10. While the rice is cooking, preheat the oven to 200°C/ 400°F/ Gas 6 and cook the chicken in a lightly oiled baking tray until it’s cooked through and the skin is crispy, approximately 20-25 minutes.

11. Once the rice is cooked and has absorbed the liquid, remove from the heat and let steam for 10 minutes. Remove and discard the thyme stems, whole pimento and scotch bonnet. Using a fork, fluff the rice and peas.

12. Serve the chicken with the rice & peas and hot sauce if you like it extra spicy! I like to fry some plantain banana fruit, with mine as a side dish, then add a dollop of coleslaw.

My favourite resturants in KENT

Hi gentlemen,

Just so you, get to know me , abit better, I will be sharing more about myself in my blog posts. I love cooking. It's one of my favourite past times. Which means I am very passionate about food. I love going out to restaurants in the UK, and trying various cuisines and menus from different cultures. I was born and raised in England, uk. However
my parents are from a south American and carribbean culture so growing up, I had a very varied diet.

1) Rocksalt, Folkestone

I love this spanish resturant. Not only for its delicious food but also for its gorgeous panoramic views across the Harbour. Its really lovely in the summer, especially on the deck, watching the boats.

2) Reads, Faversham

This resturant is based in a elegant Georgian manor house in a lovely landscaped grounds, with traditional country house styling, antique furnishings and lovely ancient oil paintings. It's truly a beautiful place to come, for a romantic date. It's a boutique hotel /guest house. So you can also stay in the elegant bedrooms too.

3) The old Bank, Westerham

I like this contemporary style resturant. The menu is very elegant and sophisticated. It's a mixture of British and French dishes. It has a Mitchelin and rosette award. The chef was awarded by kent line magazine "chef of the year 2020". So that shows how nice the food is. The sommelier even showed us the old vaults to sample various wines.

4) Thackeray 's Royal Tunbridge Wells

This resturant has a great tasting menu. The wine pairing suggestions are fantastic. I had a hard decision on what was my favourite.

5) The wharf, crossways, Dartford

I discovered this lovely establishment by accident. I had absolutely no clue, it was here. Its a lovely upscale pub. It has stunning lakeside views from a terrace, and a large garden. The food was really nice too. The menu had a wide range of options. I have been several times here now, however make sure you book a table, before you turn up. They often get booked up. Don't show up without a reservation.

6) Who'd A thought it, Grafty Green, Maidstone

This is a hidden gem. It's based in a 5 star boutique hotel. The food is lovely, and it has a nice ambience. If you are looking for a lovely romantic restaurant, then this is a place to come. I also recommend this hotel, if you are looking to take your lady, somewhere romantic for the night. The hot tubs in the bedrooms is lush....perfect for

7) The Swan, West Malling

This is another hidden gem that I love to visit, when i am, in West malling area. It's based in a gastropub. The owners have upgraded the place to a fine dining experience. it has loads of nice soft lighting, chandeliers and romantic decorm. From the outside it looks like a English country pub, however once you go inside, I was very pleased. The menu choice are sophisticated. It's not your stereotypical gastropub.

8) Fifi's brasserie, Maidstone

Whenever I am in the area, I like to come here for the afternoon tea experience. The decor is lovely. It's a really nice atmosphere. I would say it's a great lunch time and afternoon restaurant .

9) Chilston Park Luxury Hotel, Lenham

This is a lovely venue. We had a romantic private dining experience, in the Star room lounge, for my birthday surprise. It was amazing. We had the whole area to ourselves, overlooking the estate gardens. There is also the 2 rossette award, culpeper resturant onsite, that is open to the general public. It has a lovely seasonal menu. I have been to the culpeper resturant, at the hotel , several times. I have enjoyed the food everytime.

10) Don vincenzo , Rochester

This is a nice family run, traditional Italian resturant. The food is really nice. The menu is your stereotypical southern Italian. It's not my favourite resturant in kent, because there are so many great choices. However its definitely deserves to be included, in my top 10 list of favourite Kent restaurants. It's the best resturant in ROCHESTER, in terms of food quality, service, ambience and a friendly atmosphere. If you are in the Rochester area, I would definitely recommend it.

So there you go. Those were my top 10 favourite resturants in Kent, that I love to frequent.

I am so grateful to have such lovely and thoughtful clients. I lost my wallet the other week.

I had to cancel all my cards, so annoying when that happens. I think this only happened once before, in my late teens. Plus my wallet was a chanel wallet, so I was extremely gutted to lose it. However Oh my goodness ........yesterday one of my long-time regulars, came over with a replacement wallet, after I mentioned losing it to him. I was so grateful, I really appreciate it. THE TROLLEY DASH

Surely this has happened to several of us at one time or another. There you are in the supermarket, the clothes shop changing rooms, the post office, the bank, or even having lunch with a friend, and ring! You get that call. "Hi, babe! Can I see you in about an hour?"

Sometimes (depending on who it is, of course!) I will rush outta there, like a "blue arse fly" and happily go home, and get ready to greet him. Other times, I will tell them an hour since I have to drive to my destination and all that stuff. Still other times, I have to say I can't make it at that time and prefer to reschedule for later. Many times the phone has rung while shopping and I just have to leave my stuff where it is, leave clothes in the dressing room, drop items off with a promise that I will return later for them.

Certain fellows I have no problem with doing that for because, I know they are traveling and have a tight schedule, and some of whom are my favorites, so I will cut lunch short, leave my trolley where it is, or let the person behind me take my place in the line at the bank. One week in particular I remember trying to shop for groceries (same store, three times) and every single time I started shopping, I got one of those calls, left my groceries in the trolley and headed to the car park. Now I know how those hot firemen must feel.... LOL

Then of course, there are those fellows who think we are sitting at the computer all day long in our underwear.....

awkward LOOOL

The other night I was out on a dinner date booking with one of my favorite client's who was in town on business. We sat down at the beautiful bar to wait for our table (the place is very popular and usually crowded, and our table was going to be a few minutes even though we were on time and had reservations, but no biggie). Suddenly, I noticed someone I recognized. It was another regular client of mine, one whom I have seen several times, who lives here in town, walking toward the front door to exit the restaurant, with whom I assume was his girlfriend (he had described her to me in some detail ages ago, not that I asked or cared, so that had to be her). Anyway, the look on his face was like total surprise. I looked away like I didn't see him. I mean, what did he think I was going to do, walk up and say, "Hey, you were great the other day, baby! See you next week?" LOL. So, my date for the evening and I ordered our drinks and continued enjoying ourselves until our table was ready. We savored our dinner and dessert, and then retired for the evening to his hotel.

Later, I got a message and then minutes later a sudden phone call on my mobile phone from yes, you guessed it, the other guy I saw leaving the restaurant with the girlfriend. He is whispering "I'm calling from the shed in the garden, so the 'other half' won't hear me. Naomi!! who was that guy? is he your boyfriend? who is he? is he a client? Are you still with him right now? You know I really like you naomi, I got slightly jealous when I saw you with him.....who is he???.......You looked great tonight and I wish I could have taken you out to that place, but you know I can't. You got me all flustered. Let's talk. When can I see you again?". I say 'anytime you want a booking hun' He says ' Can you call me in the week babes? Please just to talk, i like talking to you....Maybe we could meet for a drink, but just as friends??? What you wearing now??something sexy I bet??

He sounded kind of surprised that i didnt want to talk with him and not have phonesex, after all i had company ( my client was in the shower when this guy called) the reason why I picked up was pure curiosity- if you are wondering . Also he seemed shocked that i was on a date/ overnight with someone else. I mean, come on!! Did he not think that I "date" other people? When he called that night, my heart truly did sink with a tinge of sadness, because I knew I would have to lose him as a client. Even though I decided to ignore his numerous phone calls, he still keeps calling, texting, sending cock pics, 'wassapping' and emailing. ( this client suddenly decided he, wanted free continious chatting and phonesex) It's a shame but When clients do this, its a warning sign to a escort to cut contact. sorry guys to be waffeling on like a geek with a experiment lol, but for those of you completely clueless about guitars, well the 'vintage gibson j-45' , is a very high end guitar-' like the bentley of guitars', and worth brand new around £1500.

i was so touched that my mum had asked everyone in my family and my close friends to club together to get this for me, that i actually cried abit, rofl (i know... im a sobby cow sometimes, but on this occassion,i couldn't help myself lol). my mum told me she managed to get it, second-hand for £760!! bargain!!

in the past i have helped out my family members quite a bit, if they are ever in desperate need, and i never ask for it back -no questions asked, so it was so nice to feel appreciated on christmas day. i felt like a kid again. :-)

I was having this heated debate with my cousin over the weekend, who is a total Drama Queen, when she’s drunk. Well she had been drinking and crying all night to me that her boss overlooked her for a promotion that she was up for, and instead he gave the promotion to a girl who has less experience and less seniority.

At first I thought her boss was wrong for overlooking my cousin for a promotion that she was up for, that is until my cousin said; “That bitch is only getting this promotion because she’s fucking the boss”Oh shit, how come she didn’t mention that detail , fucking hours ago because that would have been the end of the conversation ? This situation is not a right/wrong situation, this is the game of “Pussy Politics” and the boss gave the promotion to the girl who’s sucking his dick right.

I’ve sucked a few dicks in my time where getting something I needed was my main motivation, and 99% of the time it worked for me. My cousin doesn’t understand “pussy politics” because she’s like every other civvy woman in the world who feels that a woman should use her brain to get ahead. ebony naomi's long time comming blog entry lol

well its been a very long time since I blogged, and to be honest with you im not someone who has the time to blog regular i.e everyday. anyway Im back from my leeds adventure, this is my 3rd time of visiting leeds. I have fallen in love with the place. its so clean and the people are so cheerful lol, took some hot sexy soapy shower pics while I was there, I have just put them in my private gallery ;-). Im think I going to start visiting different parts of the uk again, because evrytime I visit new places, its kind of like a mini vacation, aways manage to sightsee where ever I go. I did stop travelIng for a while, and stayed at my base, however keep a eye on my profile, I maybe coming to a town or city near you soon. when I visited Leeds, I went on the middleton railway, I got booked by a guy for a date package booking and I had to accompany him to a golf club, before we retired to his hotel. Unfortunately I cant play golf very well at all hahahaha he had a great laugh everytime i missed the target. I enjoyed myself, never the less. I also went to tropical world in leeds, its kind of like a little zoo. Next week i'm going to visit cardif for the first time in ages. im going to check out the sights and see what you punters are still as nice as last time ....cant wait to meet u all xxx

Immature plonkers, timewasters and no show-shows, God I'm so sick of them and I know for sure other escorts are very sick of them too. You know the ones, those clients that call you requesting a appointment, so you turn away other clients because you have filled that particular slot. then they either don't show up, or 15 minutes before they are due to arrive they phone up saying they have to cancel, worst still when you show up they pretend that they are not at home and don't answer their door. please stop it guys, cause you are spoiling it for the genuine clients.

Let it be known I have a timewaster list as long as a piece of string.
There is one or more every day. What excuse will they have tomorrow the same feeble one no doubt. Never mind chin up, the good do outweigh bad.

question about money

I been thinking today about something,

I had a appointment monday night before i sent off for my norwich adventure the next day and received a generous tip (30 pounds on top of my regular fee)! I was pleasantly surprised. I never expect a tip, I only expect to be paid what I charge. And it made me feel so good because I have some bills and other stuff that are due in the next couple of weeks. Basically, I'm setting aside all my earnings at this time...

I counted the money while the client was in the shower ,this particular client always likes to put my fee discreetly in a particular place (so my client did not witness me counting it), I wondered if I should thank him? I was torn between saying, "Thank you so much for the extra, it is very kind of you!" and between my policy of never mentioning money. In the end, I decided to politely thank him openly, his response was "your more than welcome sweetheart.'

My question to the ladies: would you say "thank-you" openly or be grateful silently?
My question to the gentlemen: would you want the escort to mention anything about the tip?
