| Early night |
| I am having an early night tonight as I have visitors tommorrow. Have done some shopping and bought some food in for a roast dinner tommorrow. I am doing a roast lamb joint with all the trimmings. We are then having choux buns for desert. It's been a long time since I have cooked a Sunday roast for a very long time as when you are on your own it's not worth cooking a Sunday roast. Most of my meals are ready meals that I usually heat up in the microwave and my oven doesn't get much use these days |

| Getting colder |
| I have noticed it is getting colder now in think.the temperature will drop.then again it's mid november hope we don't get snow.its nice when it is fresh on the ground but when it gets icy its horrible. Will have to start wearing warmer clothes. The night are darker earlier now so a bit dull though it does start getting lighter around 7am. I will be spending the evening with flossy listening to christmas music. |

| Shopping early this morning |
| The roads are quiet today well I only know about yarmouth went to do some shopping this morning at Tesco freshwater. Went over the bridge and it does look good. Have a lottery ticket for tonight's lottery it's only a free lucky dip as I won a lucky dip and £5 last week. You never know I might win the lottery though I wouldn't know what to do with a lot of money, I would like to win just enough to buy a nice house with a driveway and garage. Flossy would be spoilt would have to give her a bedroom of her own. |

| Yay yarmouth bridge open again |
| It's great that yarmouth bridge has opened again yesterday so I can go to freshwater via yarmouth. I just didn't like going the Thorley road way that road has so many bends and so many come around so fast. It's not too bad unless you meet a bus and you have to possibly reverse to let the bus past. I might take a drive to freshwater later and see what they have done with the bridge |

| Winter is on way |
| It has been cold today. Woke up as usual at 5 30am lay in bed and decided to get out of bed at 7 30 as was expected a man to come and have a look at the leak in my bathroom. He had booked a morning slot so I was told to expect him anytime between 8am and midday. Luckily he was here at 8am which suited me as I could go about my day. Luckily there wasn't a leak. It looks like the seal is had put on around the bath was catching the water from the shower snd running down to the side of the bath and making puddles. Just needed new sealant around the bath. |

| Lazy day today |
I have had a very lazy day today. Was going to ho out for a drive but decided it looked too cold.so I stayed in and annoyed flossy for the day. She is getting quite greedy now wanting her treats everytime I get up to make a cuppa. I seem to have a leak in the bathroom by my bath everytime I go for a shower there is a puddle of water. I have got someone coming out to look at it for me. I had the christmas music channel on today and one of my neighbours has put christmas lights round her door and her window. Personally I think it's too early to put christmas decorations up.
All my christmas shopping is all done and I can rest now. Hopefully I will get a lie in tommorrow I keep waking up at 5 30.
I am well pleased with my weight only need to lose 4.3lbs to get to my target weight. I have been behaving lately as haven't had any werthers original butter candies which I do love nor have I had any biscuits just been eating healthy meals. I am planning on cooking a nice Sunday lunch on Sunday. Been a while since I have done that as being on your own is not ideal to cook a Sunday lunch. I have visitors next week from Sunday onwards so will enjoy cooking for them. |

| Cold morning |
| It is very cold this morning my bed was so warm I didn't want to get out of it. I am up and about now might have a lazy day today. My Christmas wreath has been dispatched so should get it in a day or so. Debating whether I should get highlights in my hair next time I have my hair done. |

| Cheer up |
| Is it just me or are post office workers are a miserable bunch. It must be in their job description to be grumpy. Though I must say the staff at freshwater post office in Tesco are cheerful. I have been to yarmouth post office and the guy there is so grumpy he never smiles even when I bid him a good day there is no response. I visited 2 post offices in ryde today and both members of staff were so grumpy. It as though they don't like doing their job. It doesn't cost anything to smile. I myself am always happy always have a smile for everyone. Rant over for now. My missions to make them smile. |

| Christmas wreath |
| I am really happy now i have just ordered a christmas wreath should get it in about 3 days time. Now my christmas decorations shopping is complete. It's a bit chilly today have just put my heating on. I shall be putting up all my decorations and my tree on around the 4th December cant wait getting excited. Not sure how flossy will feel with all the Christmas decorations. Will be going birthday cake shopping at the weekend as its flossy 's birthday in Wednesday am sure she won't mind me having her share of the birthday cake. Was going to put a birthday hat on her little head but don't think she will like it. |

| Looking nice today |
It looks warm today i am chilling today decided to wear a nice dress today as dont have any plans to go out at all. Decided on some cheese on toast for my breakfast, though I am not a bread person so when I do buy bread I try and freeze half a loaf and use the other half. I am also very picky about the bread I prefer either Danish loaf or milk roll. I probably won't bother with the bread after the weekend.
Flossy is very active this morning. It's her birthday next Wednesday and I shall treat myself to a cream cake in honour of her birthday I am sure she will be more than happy with her treats. |

| Nice day today |
| It is pleasantly warm today. I popped out for a bit and was surprised at how mild the weather is. Have had the window cleaner in to clean the outside of my windows this morning. Nothing much to do today and nothing good in the tv either. My Christmas outfits are getting delivered slowly. Soon I will be kitted out for christmas. |

| Really cold today |
I have found it to be cold put the heating on earlier and had to switch it off after half an hour as the flat got far too warm. Flossy is all curled up on top of the sofa though she has got up a couple of times asking for treats. She now stand up on her back legs to say please and thankyou. I have got a pink jumper on today was in a jogging suit all day yesterday. Nothing good is on the tv so I have switch to a channel which has got dome Christmas songs on.
Had my groceries delivered this morning from asda was supposed to be delivered between 8am and 9am but they arrived at 7 45am so was really happy. My sofa bed arrives on the 19th of this month.sp I am looking forward to the delivery I bought it from dreams and they will put it together for me. It's worth paying for the assembly as I am not very good at diy am surprised my curtain rails have stayed up for the last 5 years. Well better sort something out for my dinner not sure what I want yet. Maybe just a sandwich. |

| Remembrance sunday |
It's remembrance Sunday and I had forgotten all about it. Had to pop into ryde this morning and the roads are so quiet.
I am now back home chilling i had an Asda delivery booked between 8am and 9am and the delivery arrived early at 7 45 am so was really really happy with that. I remembered to order some milk as that is one thing I always forget |

| Getting colder now |
It's starting to get cold. I should put the heating on even if it's just for an hour to take the chill off the rooms.
My Christmas tree was delivered this morning at 9 15. So i am happy now. Shall get a christmas wreath when I find one. One of my neighbours has put Christmas lights around her door. Personally I think it's too early to put the lights up but I have known some people put up their decorations up around October.
Flossy has always had dried food as she doesn't like wet food. I decided to try her on meat sticks today so far she has enjoyed them and hasn't affected her at all. Usually if I give her anything that doesn't say sensitive I doesn't agree with her and she gets a bit poorly. Fingers crossed she will be ok |
