What's Occurring !

Soooo, it has been awhile since I've blogged.

I've not been great in honesty mental health wise - however, I have also been very busy with festival work.

My best friend, the wonderful Sophia Crystal-Tease has kept me upbeat & positive. Some days I simply haven't felt like camming - my apologies for that !

My lovely clients who have stuck with me & visited make my days online. I will tell you a truth - when I've not been online, it is nerve-wracking to get back on. Then I wonder why on earth I was scared!

There is a fair amount going on in my off cam life so I'm struggling a bit. Maybe I should cam more to forget about the troubles !

There is far too much to list about what has gotten me down & the lack of support I have. Teamwork makes the Dream Work is my motto !

I'll post a more positive blog soon.

Festivals

Soooo .... what's currently occurring?

Well, I have been doing some festival work over the last week, and another one this coming weekend - hence not being around on cam ! (I did consider trying to cam from my mobile phone on site, but ended up being too busy!)

I was working at Fantasy Forest Festival at Sudeley Castle What a festival. It was huge - over 7.500 people per day visiting. All manner of stalls selling boho clothing, pagan trinkets, artisan items, Live action roleplay weapons or replica weapons to name but a few. Face and Body painting was available (I am considering applying next year to do airbrush face painting/temporary tattoos)

Several varied food stalls (hellishly expensive imo), a bar (naturally) selling mead, real ale, ciders.

A full schedule of entertainment from 10 am until 9 pm - pirate bands, burlesque performances, belly dancing & even a set by Professor Elemental of Chap Hop fame.

The site was split into several areas - A medieval section, Steampunk, Post Apocalyptic (The Wastes), The Plains. 4 different stages for the various performers.

People were dressed in all manner of costume and clothing. Some utterly fantastic outfits/costumes (see thumbnail pic).

Visitors dished out "trinkets" - I have a fair collection ranging from seed pods to herb bundles

The event is run by a Dutch company. This year was the biggest yet. Tickets go on sale on 1 October and sell out very quickly. A weekend ticket can be purchased with camping facilities offered overnight.

One thing struck me in particular about this festival - the loos. I have to commend the organisers on having some of the best (cleanest) festival portaloos I've ever encountered (having done a lot of festivals in my life). A small thing maybe, but definitely welcome !

I worked at one of the food stalls - a close friend of mine owns it whom I've known for years. My duties ranged from pot washing, FOH serving, Short order cooking, food prep for the "specials" (Sweet & sour pork, Spanish chicken, Haggis, neeps & whiskey sauce). Pretty much whatever needed doing ! The days were long & hard work, but thoroughly enjoyable.

Festival work is largely a lifestyle choice. It's tough going - a lot goes on behind the scenes to set up & run smoothly. The food stall I was on takes 2 - 3 days to set up.

There is a quick turn around this week as we are off to another festival close to Silverstone Race Circuit. 2 days to pack down from Fantasy Forest, then off for a 2 hour drive to Northamptonshire (finally take down finished last night around 6 pm). I go today (Wednesday). We start serving tomorrow late lunchtime so it is all hands to the plough so to speak. This one is a Live Action Roleplay Festival and as such not open to the public. Rejuvinating Weekend

Soooo, this last weekend I had time off cam and had the pleasure of visiting fellow cam girl & best friend - the lovely, bubbly Crystal-Tease.

Friday night was very chilled, sitting outside around the chiminea and a delightful Chinese takeaway - pancake rolls, bbq spare ribs & chicken curry. Far too much for us to eat in one sitting !

Saturday morning I was up early (around 5.30 am) but had coffee & started a new book - Lynda La Plante.

Then it was off to a garden centre. Well, it was lethal for us both! There was a divine pagan type shop, selling crystals, incense, windchimes, dream catchers, incense sticks, witch balls (also known as faery balls) - I bought one to ward off negative energy in my room.

There was a sort of courtyard with lots of little dinky shops all around the garden centre.

Then back home & nap time ! Evening sat out again with chiminea, just chatting & planning lots of things for the future together - duo camming for one, calendars and a holiday next year ! And me starting doing meets - massage and Domme sessions.

Crystal's garden is divine. Lots of plants & flowers. All manner of solar powered lights with a soothing water feature. It was totally relaxing.

Sunday was a complete chill out day. More chatting - I fully offloaded onto Crystal as I have been going through some personal issues & financial difficulty. It felt good to air my concerns and have someone to talk things through with. Hot tub in the evening - we were in for an hour !

All in all I had a thoroughly much needed relaxing and restful weekend and was looked after impeccably. I am ready to take this week by storm.

We have decided I should go up once a month so we can do duo content & stream together. Watch this space !

My Birthday!

Soooo, what a super weekend it has been so far !

Friday evening I had a friend visit for spiced rum & wine, plus music. We put the world to rights !

Saturday my best friend (surrogate sister) Crystal-Tease visited. Such lovely gifts:

* Lovense vibrating nipple clamps !
* Huge bunch of flowers - gorgeous arrangement
* Scented candle
* Reed diffuser - note in all scents I like. I hate Vanilla !! (read that as you want)
* Outdoor light catcher/decoration

We had prawn cocktails for lunch, followed by Sirloin steak with loaded baked potato & griddled asparagus.

Music on, lots of chatter. A short few hours as I was utterly shattered but fun nonetheless!

I couldn't have wished for a nicer birthday. My partner is away but I did have a voice message & then a video call with him.

Old Skool Food

Soo for those of us in vintage years, you may remember some of this !

This blog has been inspired by someone who was having chicken & chips for lunch.

Now when I was a young girl, going to the pub for lunch was an absolute treat. Usually we had chicken & chips in a basket - now this basket is a plastic effort, with a piece of greaseproof paper inside. Quarter of a chicken (deep fried) and chips. If you didn't have that, you had scampi & chips (in a basket).

Plate meals - breaded plaice & chips was de rigueur. With a wedge of lemon, possibly salad but more likely frozen peas & tartar sauce
. Funnily enough, breaded plaice is actually quite difficult to find these days !

Or Gammon Steak - now this was different from what is offered today. None of this thin gammon horse shoe gammon - this was a proper thick cut piece of gammon with either a fried egg or pineapple slice.

Posh meals - appetisers were usually soup, possibly egg mayonnaise, maybe paté and the ubiquitous prawn cocktail - served in a wine glass with maybe a slice of lemon !

Home parties. Now this is when the culinary expertise came into its fore. Platters such as Vol aux vents - mushroom (Campbells condensed cream of mushroom soup) or chicken (canned chicken supreme in a white sauce). Things on sticks - usually mini sausage or a cube of cheese with either pineapple or a silverskin onion (oh, and an absolute MUST is they must be placed in a "hedgehog" - basically either half a melon or cabbage wrapped in tin foil). Which brings to mind a New Year's Eve party at a friend's house. She "poshed up" things on sticks - a quarter of a fishfinger with a single pea!! Must have taken her hours.

Sandwiches - particularly for the younger element. Sliced hot dog rolls to make open sandwiches with salmon paste, beef paste or if you were lucky, egg mayonnaise & cress.

Any effort at "poshing things up" was perhaps a bit of tomato or cucumber placed around the platter x

I was slightly spoilt by my parents' efforts. Mother did a fabulous "cheesy potato" - Americans call it twiced baked potato - essentially you cook the potato, then scoop out the filling, mix that with cheese, refill the skins , top with some grated cheese & oven bake. Tbh they are delicious !

Friday evenings were fish n chips - once a very economical dish, but not these days.

Saturdays were steak. My father made a fabulous steak diane. He was an adventurous cook - leading me on to another tale:-

Before I was born. my folks had a sort of "dining" club. Once a week they would visit homes & sample various dishes. One time when it was my folks' turn, Mother decided to do chilli con carne. Dad had to go all over the place to find fresh chillis (in the late 60's early 70's these were not readily available).

Mother, unused to the heat of chillis, put about 5 into the con carne. Her guests that night were red eyed, streaming with the spiciness of the chilli. On that note, there is a fantastic account of a guy named Frank who accidentally became a judge in a chilli contest. I don't think I can post the link on here but if you search for it, I'm sure you will find it ! Honestly I was crying laughing at this many years ago & still today.

Anyway my lovely readers - I still love mushroom vol aux vents !! (when I can find the pastry to make them !!)

Gifts/Presents

Sooo, everybody loves a gift or a present don't they?

At least I do ! I defy anyone to say they don't.

However, what makes the perfect gift? Does it cost thousands, is it ostentatious or simple?

For me, the greatest gifts are those that truly come from the heart. I remember one time a guy I was dating didn't have much money, but he made me something that I treasured. It didn't matter he didn't have the money - he was thoughtful and did something within his remit. That meant more than an expensive bunch of flowers or jewellery.

Recently, a friend has started messing with stained glass. She has given me some stained glass "bunting" - looks lovely on my window x

I recently reached out to a friend who was suffering. I sent her a bunch of flowers, knowing she would like them. Hadn't realised how much that gesture meant but it was the best bunch of flowers I've ever bought.

So, gifts to me do not need to cost a fortune. I'd rather something simple but with thought behind it. That shows genuine care and attention.

I also don't do gifts for the sake of it. Nothing worse buying some tat that will sit in a cupboard because it's just been bought for the sake of buying.

That being said, I do have a wish list on here and so if anyone did want to send me a gift from there, I would really appreciate it !

Bank Holiday weekend !

Sooo, a fabulous Bank Holiday weekend. Sunday BBQ with my best friend (you may know her!). Amazing help getting things sorted with balloons, banners etc. It was a certain person's birthday!

Hot tub all sorted, people enjoyed that Food went down a storm. Barely a scroggin left (that's a Northern term btw). Old skool music playing, gorgeous weather to boot x

Best friend will visit soon again & we will have a more "adult" bbq - ribs, chicken kebabs, koftas. Let's not forget hot tub !

So glad to have resumed friendship - we've both been through a rough time but are back stronger than ever.

Just a bit sad we didn't even get to Karaoke - my best friend has a beautiful singing voice. Sadly unless it's blues I don't as I'm husky & deep voiced !

Cam Girls, prejudice & relationships

Sooo, obviously I'm a cam girl.

I got into this during Covid. I used to do a lot of festival work - of course Covid put a stop to that! I had to find something different & there I found myself embarking on a new journey, that of a Cam Model.

For sure I was incredibly nervous at the start. Hadn't a clue what to do, how to act, how much to show, etc. It's like being thrown into shark infested waters - you'll either get eaten or be saved !

Thankfully, I have found it to be an incredible journey over the last 2 and a half years or so - maybe it's 3. I forget.

Having an understanding partner is a blessing. Sure, he doesn't always like the hours I put into camming - it's not as easy as anyone thinks. Physically & mentally it is tiring if I'm honest. Some days are really hard when you give your all & earn maybe £10.

Lots of men think having a cam model as a girlfriend is the dog's gonads. Not always. Jealousy can creep in there. When you spend hours on Cam chasing that buck & not spending time with your significant other.

Prejudice - where do I start? Lots of people slate us Cam models; they just don't understand. Instead of thinking "wow, she looked outside the box & found a way to earn a living during Covid"... no, it's "you are disgusting. You shouldn't be around children" (something I have personally had said to me).

Us Cam girls come with a stigma. People forget we are real people with feelings underneath the persona. Instead of thinking outside the box, we are judged for what we do.

However, I am proud to be a Cam model. I have had clients who have made me laugh, chatter incessantly & are almost like friends now. Some bizarre requests !

I think I'm lucky that most of my clientele are well mannered gentlemen. A little conversation, a hello, how are you really is important.

Also camming gave me an opportunity to meet my best friend. Sure, we've had our ups n downs, but she is a rock to me. And she gets what we do. I love her for it. No jealousy, nothing. She's as entertaining as they come too.

Age & Sexuality

Sooo, here we go!

Now as you may have read I was bullied in my younger life (see Ugly Duckling blog).

I've found myself through camming and feel very attractive.

However, let's not forget I'm 52 years of age. My body is good, but it's not a gym fit tight toned body - at my age it takes a fair amount of time. That being said, I can still rock it & am considered sexy.

Some guys on cam are just downright rude. I had a "client" today who was liked a good ass. He viewed mine and the result was

"just seen ass pic it looks like a ran over kebab"

Now that really hurt.

I don't claim to have a toned body, but for my age it's decent.

Rest assured, I will block anyone and everyone who is rude to me.

Wine

Sooo.... I am a wine drinker.

I love a good red. There's supping plonk and wine you should share, sip slowly & enjoy with a good meal or conversation.,

Supping plonk - generally Merlot or Cab Sav.

Better wine - Chateaux Neuf du Pape (oh story coming about this later in this blog !!)

Rioja - a decent one.

Barolo

I like deep full bodied red wine.

Preferably with a decent cheeseboard !

So, Chateaux Neuf Du Pape - my parents were on holiday& it was their wine of choice. Relatively inexpensive (so I have been led to believe !) at the time, but it was a sign of culture. They were treated like Kings ! Priceless. Then again, my parents have caused stirs on occasion. My father was in the Masonics. Ended up on the lash in Monte Carlo with Oliver Reed. That was an experience & half !

Summertime I love a crisp white - often a spritzer. Pinot Grigio or a Chablis. (I don't usually make spritzer with Chablis !)

Life struggles

Sooo, I do have another job - I teach.

Recently I worked and somehow a student via my FB profile (which is not linked any way to my cam career) apparently found me on Twitter - now there are some explicit things on there. I hadn't thought it possible, but somehow it was found (now deleted). And I was refused to go to the school.

There is no safeguarding risk or anything, but I'm penalised for having an extra curricular job ! WHAT !

The agency will no longer allow me to teach.

Seems you can't have a life outside of the school imo. Anyway not to worry. It is what it is.

Ugly Duckling

Sooo, you may not (or maybe you will) I'm the proverbial ugly duckling !

During my childhood/teens I was a redhead & came under all sorts of bullying for this.

I never ever considered I was attractive at all. I was a bit weighty in my late teens till about 20 or so.

Still never considered myself attractive..Boy have I had some serious abusive partners !

Bit like being desperate to belong in a relationship.

So moving on.. I found myself in my mid 40's. Realised I was actually good looking. Towards 50 I started camming & I thank every single client who visits me. You have boosted my confidence 100 fold. I finally feel attractive and appreciate every compliment that is given. I just wish I'd done this in my 30's !

I'm more confident than ever, but it won't last. I'm soon to be 53 & whilst I will try to exercise & keep being what I am, one thing that will never change is my personality. I'll always be quirky, intelligent & up for some fun !

So, if you read this, pop into my room - see the woman I am on cam. Get to know me a little !
