| Long day today |
I havent been bored today so have not picked at food in the fridge born spent money shopping. Been watching the christmas music channel but it's getting repetitive now as they keep putting the same music on each day. Flossy has slept most if the day I guess as she is older now she will sleep more.I might take a walk to yarmouth and back in the morning g but it all depends how I feel when i get up. I am hoping to have a lie in tommorrow morning as its Sunday. I have my waitrose delivery coming tommorrow I booked the slot for tommorrow once they released the christmas slots which was a good job as they don't have any slots available anymore.
I have been wearing christmas outfits all this week and they are really awesome.
I am planning on going to bed at 9pm and not get up until at least 8 30am |

| Bit chilly today |
| 4 days till christmas and it's a bit chilly out there. I am even feeling a bit cold I the flat just don't want to move off my settee. Flossy is all curled up and at the moment she is facing the tv.she will probably take a nap and then wake up at 9pm and want to play. I am in my Christmas dress again today. |

| Bored today |
| I am really bored today everything done and dusted so have been bored since 11am. When I am bored I either start shopping online and most of the time I buy things I don't really need and it's usually something that looks nice then a couple of hours later I regret my purchases. The other thing I do is eat and pick at food which I am trying to avoid so that I dont put on any weight. I made the decision to eat, so far I have had a banana 2 chocolate eclairs and my dinner of lamb chops. Dont feel hungry but it's just comfort eating. I should really be good and not start eating just because I am bored. I had a fun filled day tommorrow so won't be bored then I hope. |

| 5 days till christmas |
Not long to go for christmas day only 5 days to go and 11 days till we say goodbye to 2024 and hello to 2025. Christmas come around so quick and is gone in a flash. There is a lot of preparation for christmas but it is too short on the day. Hope you have all got your christmas shopping done and wrapped up all the present. I hope santa brings you everything you want.
I am looking forward to christmas day I expect I will be at at the cracking of dawn. I keep telling flossy that santa will be coming to see her this year but she just looks at me.
Having my car valeted tommorrow as it needs a bit of a clean. Hopefully santa will bring me some car mats to put in my car. I am pretty sure there were mats already in the car when I bought it. But the last time it went to ds for the replacement of the door handles they washed it and cleaned the inside of it for me and am not sure if they removed the mats as there aren't any in there anymore. |

| Busy day today |
| I have been out and about all over the island did put my heater on in the car at one point as felt a bit of a chill. I am back home now chilling g with a cuppa and with flossy she is a bit a active today just wants to play. Going to get my car valeted on Saturday which should be nice. |

| One week till christmas day |
It is only one week to go till christmas and I am really really excited. I even won a family photoshoot by entering a competition and I the photoshoot i will get a free framed print worth £150 and can purchase other pictures at a reduced cost. I am really chuffed as the last time I really won something like this was in 1996 with covershots and I bought about 30 pictures then as well as having a free picture the whole lot cost me £600 then but I have lost them in between house moves. I will have to go to Bournemouth for the shoot so I have booked the shoot today for end of january.
Been to ryde and rookley this morning and am just having a cuppa with my feet up. Am having an evening of Chinese takeaway tonight so looking forward to that. |

| Amazing today |
I have had an amazing day today will definantly sleep tonight. Trying to think whether I should have some food or not dont feel so hungry at all at the moment.
Flossy is still a bit sleepy today the injection always makes her sleepy. Hopefully she will be better in the next couple of days |

| Good day today |
| Flossy went to the doctors today she was very good got in the carrier good as gold though she did protest most of the way to ryde.she had her yearly injection and flea treatment along with nail trim. So it was like a spa day for her. She has gained only 0.2 kilos and is now only 4.8 kilos in weight had her teeth checked snd they are very good its apparently because she has dry food as wet food is about 70% water. So i am happy. I popped into Tesco to get some shopping met a friend for a cuppa and then headed back home. Washing is in the machine and having a chill out evening |

| Home at last |
I arrived home at 3 15 today flossy was really happy to see me so I think she has missed me she is now cuddled up next to me. I had arranged an oven cleaning company to come over and clean my oven for me for 5pm. But I got a message at 4 59pm to say they can't make it. I think I will get the stuff myself and do it will save me some money. It's not the first time they have let me down. The first was that they had over run with an earlier appointment snd this time an emergency has cropped up. I have said I will contact them when I have time now.
Will need to go to ryde at some point tommorrow and I look forward to driving my car again tommorrow as it hasn't been driven since last Tuesday morning. |

| Coming home |
Well i am all packed and ready for breakfast and then checking out to head off to the airport. Will be home later in this afternoon i have an 3 amazing days in guernsey even managed to do some shopping but I did behave myself with money and didn't spend too much. The weather hasn't been too bad and I am hoping it isn't too bad on the isle of wight.
Looking forward to seeing flossy again not sure if she has missed me as she has found a new friend who she follows around everytime and just won't let him go even cuddles up to him. Half an hour to go before breakfast is served. I did pop downstairs a short while ago and everything is in darkness. |

| Wide awake at 4 40am |
I am wide awake and it's only 4 40am am hoping that I dont oversleep tommorrow as my flight is at 10 25 am will get breakfast at 8am and then my stuff together and head off to the airport. I am going to venture out to the town this morning its only walk from the hotel and I think I have been to every shop there is twice on Thursday as had nothing to do from 10am until checking at 3pm.
Not long to go before Christmas am getting very excited. I am planning on treating myself to a nice meal tonight but not sure where yet |

| Cold and wet day today |
| It is cold and wet today. I must have been in every shop in st peters port yesterday as I got to guernsey at 9am got a bus to the town from the airport and was at the hotel by 9 50 unfortunately it was too early to check in and they let me leave my bag in reception so off I went had breakfast and then spent the next few hours looking around the shops. Guernsey doesn't seem to have many christmas decorations or lights up so doesn't feel christmassy. It used to be decorated very nicely when I used to visit before. Mind you a lot has changed since the last time I was here was 2014. I have had my breakfast and will walk it off when it stops raining. Mind you I have behaved myself havent spent much money so being good for once. Might even take the bus around the island am a bit homesick and am missing flossy. |

| Channel islands guernsey |
| I have arrived in guernsey flight landed at 9am. Got a bus to St peters port but can't check in until 3pm as room not ready. So i left my bag at the hotel and decided to have a walk around the shops plus got some breakfast. There are so many nice things but I am going to behave myself and save my money and not spend a lot. Walked all the way to barclays bank to deposit some cash in there but the machine returned my to say it was not valid to do any transactions. I asked one of the ladies at the counter and she looked at my cashpoint card and said its because the account is uk not guernsey they won't accept any transactions from UK banks yet I can move money around online. Apparently it all changed in 2018. So it was back looking at the shops doesn't look very christmassy down here and it is quite cold. Will be happy to be home in Sunday hopefully redfunnel won't cancel my ferry. |

| Yay weight target reached |
I am so happy today I have reached my target weight. It has taken me 8 months but I got there in the end. Now all I have got to do is maintain it which isn't too hard to do. I dont do takeaways any more unless it's a treat or special occasion. I do dometime go out for a meal but that isn't very often. Will keep up with my walk to yarmouth and back 2 to 3 times a week.
On another thought I thought that I had accomplished my mission to make the post office guy at yarmouth smile and speak which he did last week but this week he is as miserable as ever. I will make sure he is smiling by the end of this year. I like everyone to be happy just like me and I believe manners and a smile dont cost anything. |
