Scent-sational

I've received a few compliments of late, based around the perfume I've worn.

I can't over emphasise how important an exquisite perfume is, to be wrapped and cradled upon your skin is like an aphrodisiac all on its own. It certainly boosts my confidence, makes me feel sexy and sassy when I do.

The notes in those precious liquids will remind you that you love yourself and will tell other people you do, because you know you're worth it.

In every step that I've taken in life, I have been accompanied by an exquisite perfume. My favourites right now are Dior Addict and Tom Ford Lost Cherry, both rather aptly named lols.

Another Beach Day

#KNACKERED!!

Traditional Saturday outing took me and my wheelchair companion to East Runton, Norfolk, where I parked up and then walked whilst pushing wheelchair to Cromer.
Although not far, when pushing someone who's a tad heavier than I and on uneven paths, felt like a frickin marathon lol.

We stopped for obligatory cuppa and look around, before heading back to car. But me being the fruit loop I am and kitted out with swim gear and water shoes, decided to have a dip in the sea whilst companion dozed in car.

It was meant to be a quick 3 minute Wim Hof jobbie, however I underestimated the amount of rocks on Sea floor, managed to lose my footing and pretty much arse planted the sea, not giving myself enough time to acclimatise to the baltic freshness. Needless to say the parent's who were close by gave me looks that would put me 6 foot under, after a slur of profanities left my normally eloquent mouth.

But I did it, I calmed my nerves and my bullet nips enough to enjoy it before making a hasty escape back to the safety of the car and get my sticky, salty bod home and showered.

Round 2 tomorrow, unless I go for a more sedentary activity.

Grateful

I've had another absolutely fabulous weekend, I am beyond grateful to have been gifted tickets to see P!NK at a rather mahoosive stadium in London yesterday.

This was one time I didn't have to drive and luckily we got amazing seats with a bird's eye, stones throw view of the stage.

Just as well because the crowd in standing would've prevented me from jumping around like a loony toon on spe*d at the warm up dj, The Script and the main event.....P!NK'S Carnival. Her covers of 4 Non Blondes, Adele and the duet with her daughter had me and 69,999 people whooping, screaming and singing along.

The weather held off too, because P!NK wasn't the only one worried about her hair, a certain person I was with worried his 'gelled tips' would flop, lol.

We were buzzing so much after, I didn't get to bed until 5am this morning, I know I'm a dirty stop out ha ha.

Today was a father's day lunch and memorial at dad's resting place on the coast, which I was driving to and from. Different contrast to yesterday, but still an excellent day with fam but now I am really feeling my age because of lack of sleep!!

Luckily I have a few weeks respite before the next gig at O2, on July 10th and I'm hoping there'll be some warmth between now and then, so I might get a bit of a tan otherwise I may have to spray tan them myself lol.

Eeeks it's the weekend!!

I’m the type of girl who gets excited for the next full moon. I recharge my batteries by the sea, rivers and lakes. I'm the girl who drives around the block one more time just to listen to my cheesy playlist. I’m the type of girl that believes magic exists in this world, even at times when it doesn’t seem so magical. I’m aware the little things in this lifetime are actually the big things, the important things.

I've got a big, magical weekend planned and although it'll be tiring, I'll be making more amazing memories, with 70,000 like minded peeps and quite possibly knackering the already knackered knees. Anyone got a zimmer I could borrow?

Saturday Shenanigans

It's been another mixed day for the Great British weather!!

First thing this morning was an early trip to Covehithe beach, where for a couple of hours it was actually balmy, yet overcast. Managed to get the obligatory footsie dip and brekkie, before it started blowing a bit of a hoolie. Decided to head back to car as felt a spitty spot of rain, had the other obligatory car photo before heading home.

The rain was once again torrential heading towards Norwich, the temperature a pitiful 11°C, made me want to rethink my party in the park plans!!

Now and for the past couple of hours the sun's out, the music is pumping (toons from my clubhead day's) and I'm supping on cider being careful not to spill it as we do big fish, little fish moves ala K&P lol.

Life is to be lived, loved and at times laughed at xx

Buzzing

Yesterday I stepped out of my comfort zone and attended my first ever big concert, at the O2. Driving there filled me with anxiety that was pointless, as it was a straightforward route.

Getting into such an event with so many people, would've sent my noggin into overdrive but again I needn't have stressed.

The event was beyond my expectations and the group I've followed for a good 15yrs, blew my mind and will probably result in me not being able to walk through dancing and talk through screaming, especially when they played my absolute fave, Hurricane.

Coming home was a bit more problematic, but I did it and can't wait to do it all again on the 15th, for PINK.

It was simply amazing and the best birthday present, now excuse me whilst I try and sleep.

Happy

Think how joyous each and every day could be when you are making the most of what you already have.

We’re so caught up in trying to do everything, experience all the essential things, not miss out on anything important…
But life is better when we don’t try to do everything. Learn to enjoy the slice of life you experience in the here and now and life turns out to be wonderful.

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life, it turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a happy meal into a veritable feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.

I'm living and loving my life right now, are you?

Feeling Good

The benefits that research shows for regular exercise are nothing but good. More energy, better sleep, less stress, less depression, enhanced mood, improved memory, less anxiety, better sex life, higher life satisfaction, more creativity, and better wellbeing overall.

I thought after giving up my gym membership I'd lack motivation to stay active, but if anything, I do more than I used to. I automatically wake up around 5.30am, so 4 out of 7 day's I do a full body workout. I aim for around a 10,000 steps hiit programme, dumbell assisted, then move onto a specific area. The other 3 day's are walks out and about Norfolk and Suffolk.

Whereas at the gym I'd pootle around for an hour, at home I can easily do 2hrs and because no one's around, I can wear what I like and not have to worry about the dreaded camel toe or my nips standing to attention lol.

I've also recently started nootropics and other herbal aids, including tumeric tea and chia water, that will only benefit this old bod as I move into old age.

Another Adventure

What do you do when you have no plans? I jumped in the car and drove towards Lowestoft, but took a diversion and ended up at Dunwich. What a beautiful drive, especially with the rhododendrons that arch over the road, it looked like a fairy tale picture.

Dunwich is such a quaint little area, with Greyfriars Medieval Friary ruins, The Last Grave,The Ship pub (alas I didn't enter) and a stunning beach, I just had to dip my tootsies into the sea.

There was a a big café and get this, a mobile sauna that was very tempting and if I'd have known, I would've taken my bikini and towel so I could do hot and cold therapy.

It's been another good day out that I plan on more spontaneous adventures in the very near future.

Good Times & Spray Tan Lines

Today I'm the Fairy Tan Mother, having come out of 'retirement' when covid hit. Even though it's been a year since I last used my machine, I've proved to myself and other's why I got such 'glowing' reviews in my hay day.

I love watching the transformation of people, some who are shy or body conscious, it's like they leave with not only external but internal glows. Whilst contouring with tan is a tad more tricky, the results of noticeable muscle definition and overall physique is a testament to my training and experience.

Question is should I go back to it full time? It would mean giving up this element of my life, which I'm not sure I'm ready to do just yet. I genuinely enjoy my time on here and I know I'm good at providing great 'customer service'.

For now I'll settle for being an on call tan-gal, as and when needed to help those in need of a glow job lol.

I Love My Life

Last night I took a chance and stayed up late, because of the forecasted high levels of geomagnetic activity, my reward was something that brought a lump to my throat!! NEVER have I witnessed such an ethereal and thought provoking event, it's definately another item ticked off the bucket list.

This morning was up and out early to Thetford Forest again, this time the spooky Warren Lodge then off wandering and getting lost amongst the tree's. It was so quiet, it felt like I was completely alone, but it was amazing to just walk and think.

Life maybe shite at times, but it's events like the Northern Lights and places like Thetford Forest, that makes you realise how fortunate you truly are.

Everyone has history

Too many of us undervalue ourselves by digging too deep into the mistakes we have made, or dwelling on when we failed at something. Like relationships, responsibilities, careers, whatever it might be, all those experiences make up the mystery and story of who we are.

Whatever the mistakes or failures of someone’s past that leads them to your door, should be experiences you are grateful for and that is cause for celebration. All of us have had experiences, good and bad and it's those that make up the intricate tapestry of who we are.

So the next time you feel the need to dismiss someone because of their complexities, remember we are ALL complex beings, together in this fucked up but beautiful world.

Summer.....

A bikini is like a barbed wire fence. It protects the property without obstructing the view lol.

I'm really hoping it'll be sunbathing time soon, that thought makes me smile. I actually enjoy laying in the sun in a bikini, timing myself carefully so I don't burn. I love the smell and feel of tanning oil.

Spending my free time at the beach on a hot day, having a dip in the sea followed by feeling the warm sun drying me off, I can't wait.

I don't want to hear any lectures about how bad tanning is for you, I'm qualified in skin cancer red flags (MASCED) and I'm also a qualified spray tan 'master' trained by the guy who tans a little Australian popstar, when she's in the UK.

Sunbathing is my new vice, especially now I've trimmed down and toned up. All I need apart from the heat, is a good podcast to keep me company and liquid hydration, bring on the good times and tan lines.

I love mine

If someone moves to make room for you, take up more room. If someone is looking over there, there’s something to see. If somebody sneezes, run. If someone brings a bag into your home, look inside it. If you don’t want someone to leave, sit on their bag. Clean between your toes and feel free to bite those toe nails whilst people are eating. Flaunt your full figure like a proud, athletic stripper. Hide loose change where it cannot be found. Even though you can take care of yourself, it’s okay to let someone be nice and brush you. It’s fine to take a nap on the laundry. If you stand in a kitchen long enough, someone will feed you. If you’re alone in bed, use the pillows to sprawl out on. Just because it’s gorgeous outside doesn’t mean you have to go outside, you prefer to just sit by an open door. Just because you can fit into something tight doesn’t mean that you belong in it. If you trust someone, open yourself like a cheap umbrella. If you want to be left alone, park yourself in a closet. If you want to surprise someone, lie in a bathtub and then jerk back the curtain when they sit on the toilet. If you’re not interested, don’t look interested. You don’t have to chase every bird that you see.

Ahh the life of a cat, I love my Harley, the talkative oap who needs steps to get on and off my bed. No matter what, the unconditional love he shows me makes the above worthwhile.
