Missing in action...

Hey everyone

I know it's been some time since I've cammed on AW and posted a blog so I thought I'd just check in..

I am still here (just about!) Life has become super busy, I am in the middle of decorating the house and I have started a new job... Not to mention frantically trying to save money to go travelling!!

I just want to thank those who have been super patient and understanding! I am not sure when I will be camming again, but I will make sure I will upload some content for you! ;)

I hope everyone is having a fantastic Jubilee weekend.

New Beginnings

So, this is my first blog on here... first of many (hopefully)..

I went for a walk earlier on with my dog, and as always, I felt good getting some fresh air and going for a walk with my best bud. As I was walking through the fields, the breeze in my face and watching the sun set in the distance, I could not help but reflect on the last couple of years.

We have been through unprecedented times, and the pandemic has taken its toll on pretty much everyone and their mental health in one way or another. Speaking personally, I was sick with COVID and I have suffered losses throughout the pandemic.

I have in recent weeks made some huge changes to my life, and as you can see, I have joined AW and I am pretty much still finding my feet. Having said that, these changes I have made have been nothing but positive and my mental health has gone from strength to strength.

I do not know if it is just the small steps I am taking.. eating healthier, exercising more, or even the spring clean I have had over the Easter weekend... or whether is it because of the start of Spring; the longer days and the warmer weather, but I am almost a completely different woman to the one I was even just a month ago!

I know that the summer generally brings out the best of us, but I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed that this will continue to happen and that 2022 will be MY YEAR! In fact.. I hope that it will be OUR YEAR!

So; here's to the start of Spring, here's to a much healthier state of mind, and here's to us!
