My new cam room

I currently cam from my little office at home but Ive always dreamt about having a studio in my garden where I can cam, do my life coaching from and also record my You Tube videos, and Im finally going to have my dream come true.

For the past 5 weeks I have been building (with some help from my builder William) my very own 'She Shed'. I will also have a pergola on the side where the hot tub will be, so who knows, I may cam from there in the future too. Its really coming along and this weekend I should be at the painting stage (external) and when I get back from my holiday I can start making the inside look gorgeous. I still cant decide on what colour, but as its in the garden Im thinking green and white could look gorgeous.

I will send pictures but here is one to give you a bit of context.

So hopefully by November I will be in my new cam studio so please come and see me there

Saying good bye to summer

I actually cant believe that we are hurtling towards the end of September and that summer is officially over. And whilst I dont suffer from SAD I do miss the long summer nights, just hanging out in the garden, or even better, a beer garden, watching the sun go down.

Some of you will know that I have been working hard on my garden this summer building walls, putting up a huge fence and more recently building my she shed, so I feel that I havent had much of an opportunity to enjoy my garden this year. At some points Ive literally wondered why I took on such a huge project, but thank goodness for my little garden bar which I affectionately call 'Beer and Titties'. My hot tub has been a god send too, easing my tired muscles after a long day. So I will be sad to put them into hibernation for the winter.

Im definately a spring/summer girl at heart and I love the sunshine and warm weather.

Does anyone else feel a bit down when the autumn starts to appear and the dark nights start to come around? My only consolation is getting the wood burner going. I could sit and look at it for hours with a hot chocolate (flavoured with a shot of Baileys)
