| Miami 2023 What a Blast |
Miami 2023 was a blast, have a snippet of my bucket list of things i did… which one do you think I chickened out of?
1. Visited the famous South Beach - Enjoyed the sun, sand, and the ocean breeze on a world-renowned beach.
2. Took a walking tour of the Art Deco District - Explored the unique architecture and history of Miami's Art Deco buildings.
3. Visited the Miami Beach Botanical Garden - Enjoyed the lush greenery and beautiful flowers in this peaceful oasis in the middle of the city.
4. Took a bike ride on the Miami Beach Boardwalk - Rented a bike and took a leisurely ride along the boardwalk, enjoying the beautiful ocean views.
5. Went on a food tour of South Beach - Sampled the delicious cuisine of Miami's diverse and vibrant food scene.
6. Visited the Perez Art Museum Miami - Checked out the modern and contemporary art exhibits in this stunning museum.
7. Got to go on a sunset cruise - Took a relaxing boat ride and enjoyed the beautiful Miami sunset.
8. Visited the Miami Seaquarium - Saw the amazing marine life and enjoyed the animal shows. It was a really popular attraction.
9. Explored Little Havana - Experienced the vibrant Cuban culture and delicious food in this was such a vibrant neighbourhood.
10. Chickened out of a day trip to the Everglades National Park - I missed out on experiencing the unique ecosystem of the Everglades and seeing the wildlife in their natural habitat. |

Over the last couple of days, I have had several calls from patrons trying to find out If I am still going to be opened. Like everyone else living through these current days I wanted to take our time to fully assess the situation before coming to a decision.
Ultimately nobody will know the right decision for a long time to come. The decision I have made today will be based on what I know 'as true' as of now.
First of all, I want to acknowledge those who feel no matter what, no matter the situation I should be closed given the situation on ground. I hear you, and like you I am a member of society, I too have loved ones who are aging and friends and family that may be immunosuppressed. I as a small business have a responsibility to society as well as a responsibility to fulfil the deposits I have banked.
I have loans to service, lease agreements to adhere to, taxes to settle. It may sound like money money money. But understand where there is no money, there is no health.
It’s important to remember venues have not been asked or advised to close. There is a reason for this. There may well come a time when bars, pubs and clubs will be asked/advised to close. When that time comes, I shall act accordingly.
This situation is evolving daily, and its still possible something may occur that will cause a change of plans. I am just letting you know my plans as of today. I will be open for business 19th and 20th March 2020.
As it has always been, the safety and security and discretion of my guests remains my highest priority. I take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. In response to the coronavirus, I have taken additional measures developed in consultation with the local licensing and our external Hygiene audit body 'Food Alert Ltd'
I have increased the frequency of cleaning my public areas (including entrance, stairs, door handles, and my bathroom) and have continued the use of disinfectant. All guests will be encouraged to sanitize their hands-on entry and black gloves will be available for use for everyone. I will encourage payments by transfer over cash.
I am watching the daily briefings, and if things tip into a territory where it becomes necessary to be closed. I will be. This opinion may not be popular, it remains am decision for now. |
