| Merry Kissmas! |
Wishing you all a fabulous festive season whatever you have planned.
I am having a quiet one this year leaving visiting family till between Christmas and New Year.
Other than Christmas Day and Boxing Day I am still here to jingle your baubles haha.
As 2024 draws to a close it gives us time to reflect on the past 12 months - focus on the haves and will dos rather than the have nots to go forward with a positive outlook.
If you're going to make a resolution make sure it includes me :)

| Do What You Love Most |
I have learned to be happy in life, rich in memories and shared moments is to do what you love.
A long time ago I took a step back and assessed what was missing, what was eluding me from leading an enriched and fulfilled existence and the answer was to actually stop and think about myself for once.
At that point I decided to pursue the things that made me happiest taking time out to really appreciate my chosen hobbies, time spent relaxing, listening to my body, seeking out people who bring positive vibes and learning to accept being good to myself.
So these days I don't do anything that doesn't bring me joy from the work I do to the activities I undertake in my spare time.
Even down to not overdoing things to the point you get burnout.
Attune and align yourself to better understand what makes you happy.
Sometimes the most satisfaction comes from the simplest of things.
The lesson... put more importance in self care and don't deny yourself basic pleasures.

| Holiday Hot Spots |
What's your favourite holiday destination do you always return to the same location or resort?
I love a holiday that combines cultural and historical sites, the option of interesting/exciting excursions, an all inclusive hotel with a good sea view and choice cocktail menu.
However saying that I have been to colder climes and enjoy the diversity of many destinations.
I really appreciate getting a taste of local life and not just falling into the tourist trip trap. Always a stickler for trying local cuisines too - when in Rome as they say.
There are some amazing places I have travelled to and would definitely like to revisit at some point but I think my immediate choices for future consideration are:
Croatia, Romania, Hungary, Norway, Italy, Sweden, Mauritius, Isle of Skye, Greece (& more islands), Chile - so if you need a travel companion... wink, wink :-)
