"Live Thumbnails" allow other members to view a live image taken from your JustCamIt video feed without them having to enter DirectCam with you.  This lets them to see what you look like and what you might be doing before actually entering into a DirectCam session with you.

Live thumbnails of participating hosts can be viewed on the Webcam Home Page (and a dedicated page within the TV area of the Site).  Clients can browse and filter all online providers (and see their on-cam appearance) with ease.  Only members with a balance of 10 or more credits can view live thumbnails.  This will prevent anyone without the ability to enter a paid-for session from seeing your images.

To ensure that your live thumbnails are not shown when you're not expecting it you can configure when images are taken from your feed via your DirectCam Settings Page.  This is how each of the options there work.

• When waiting to cam - pictures will be taken from your video feed and shown on the Site even though you are not in a free, group or private session with anyone, (but you are logged in to JustCamIt, waiting to cam).  If you are appearing on another Site or perhaps do other things while waiting for someone to cam with you then you should not choose this option unless you are sure it is suitable for broadcast/public consumption.
   
• When in free preview - When you are in a free preview chat session images from your video feed will be shown.  As this is a non-nude mode we recommend that all members choose this option as it gives potential clients the option "see before they enter".
   
• When in group mode - When you are in a group session, images from your video feed will be shown.  Depending on what you get up to in group mode and/or your personal policy on whether you appear nude on the Site you may wish to exclude this option.  The benefit of enabling this option is that potential viewers will be able to see what's on offer and join straight away if they see something they like.  Group mode is the most lucrative way to earn credits with DirectCam.
   
• Replace Profile Picture - When your live thumbnail is being shown, your profile picture will also be substituted to show an image from your video feed.

If you do not select any of the options images from your JustCamIt feed will never been shown.
